We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your business data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account information (name, email, phone number, business name)
Business data you enter (products, customers, suppliers, sales, quotations, invoices, stock levels, etc.)
Payment information (handled securely by our payment processor – we do not store full card details)
Communications with support

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system)
Usage data (pages visited, features used, time spent)
Log data (access times, actions performed)
Cookies and similar technologies (for authentication, preferences, analytics)

1.3 Business Data You Upload

We act as a data processor for the business information you enter into the Service (customers, products, sales transactions, quotations, etc.).
You remain the data controller of this information.

Process subscriptions and payments

4. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and stored in countries outside Tanzania (primarily [country where your servers are – e.g. Germany/EU for better data protection]).

We store your data in secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit
Access is strictly limited to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure

6. Data Retention

We keep your personal account information as long as your account is active + 12 months after termination (unless longer retention is required by law).

Business data (sales records, quotations, inventory, etc.) is retained as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward to allow data export/recovery.

After that period, data may be permanently deleted unless legal requirements dictate otherwise.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and associated data (subject to legal retention requirements)
Restrict or object to processing
